Project Description
The MACA permanent facilities installation project outcome was the supply, installation & commissioning of the client site offices, crib room, ablutions, workshop sea containers and fuel supply facility at the Pilgangoora Lithium Mine Project. The facilities located 1.5 hours east of Port Hedland, are to service the client for the life of their contract.
The project scope of works encompassed the cranage, landing and complexing of the facilities and all associated plumbing and electrical works, including:
- supply and installation of cable for power distribution using overhead servicing mounting
- connection of generators for buildings & fuel tanks
- testing and commissioning of all buildings
- connection of water pumps to electrical outlets
The key challenge of the project was aligning with other client subcontractors working in a small area and ensuring all parties remained on schedule. NPJV fostered strong relationships with both the client and onsite subcontractors, allowing all project parties to plan and ensure all works affected by crossovers remained on schedule for the duration of the project.
This project demonstrated outstanding collaboration with the client and other subcontractors, leading to the project being completed on time, under budget and without incident.
